Is it February already??

I think I get some cold yesterday. Will spend some time at home.

Just started another blog on WordPress for my business, but I want to set up just right everything in there (all the possible widgets, lol!) and to write something in there and then I will show it for you. Promise ;)

We had lot of changes here in my country as we have new government. Not all the changes were good I have to admit- especially for small businesses. They changed some laws and now you have to pay something like 65 % of your income for taxes. So, I had to stop and wait till everything will be clear enough and I could see what kind of business would be the best for me. Today I heard on the news, that they will change this law again, and everything will go back to normal, but I will wait till it wiil be on paper!

Well, I am not sitting by TV anyway. As I mentioned before, I am creating a blog for my business- at the moment in English. Why? Because I have one project from USA already, and that will be not one time project, we will work together with the few projects :) So, I will have some hours that will be paid and I can plan that for the future. I am so happy for that!

I am not so naive to post right there information in "my" version of English, so, I have already found a person from USA who's company is giving some editing services. I have no agreement with her company yet, so, IF YOU KNOW anyone who would be interested in that small editing project, let me know. We could compare prices and maybe some student would get some money for coffee :)

Social Media

Well, this week was dedicated to Social Media. I was reading/copying lot of information from web. The idea is to print everything what looks interesting and take these papers to the bus when I will go to my Mom for Christmas. Trip will take 3,5 hours, so, I will have time to read and think about that, to make some notes.

I still need to create my logo and think how my website suppose to look like. Million ideas, not so easy to choose only one, lol! Also I need to find someone who knows how to create websites/or maybe for the first time I'll try to find some free template (any suggestions??).

Also I registered on Twitter, it helps me to get more information about Virtual Assistance. It is a fun tool, I'm just learning how to work with it, probably wont use it just for fun, but for work.

I think I will start working with clients on end of January. At that time my business will be legal already. And I probably will have my logo at this time also :)

Busy days

Hi there! I was busy these days with two major topics- flowers and business :)
I had repot some african violets into new soil, it took two days, LOL!

Also I was working on my business project. I already have registered domain name and also business name. I'll tell you more later about that, as I still need to do some paper work before saying that officially.

Also I made some money from my flowers- I sold few (I had few of the same kind) to other collectors. And you know what? I also got another order to make some things and decorate with Decoupage technique! Isn't that cool to have some hobbies that can also generate some income for you? Especially on crisis time :)

Anyway, these days I spent 2/3 of my time on reading just right everything about business starting- some laws that would help me become official business owner, some ideas about beginners marketing, lot of specific information about virtual assistants (VA). Feels like I am working again, and thats cool!

New ideas

Well, lets talk about business :)

I have some ideas. Instead of my job hunting I will start my own business. Nothing big. Some home - based business idea jumped right into my head when I was searching information on web.

I found a lot of information about Virtual Assistants, or Virtual Business Managers and I think there is the right place where I can use my skills. I already wrote down few ideas how to start and what will be needed for starting such business and I am very excited about that.

I was thinking a lot about my own business earlier but I knew that it is suppose to be something that I really like to do, to think about and spend all day doing that. What I am doing at the moment- spending all the time on reading topics about VA, doing my researches and thinking about strategy!

At the moment I feel happy that I have my idea and it feels way better than spending time feeling guilty for nonworking. Also I am learning new things everyday, that is soooo important to me.

As I created this blog for friends, I need their feedback! Please, let me know what do you thing about that! :)

Short, snowy days. Winter is here. Snow is there. Really beautiful view throught the window. The right time to write something ;)

The new goal I set yesterday is to improve my English. I was not using this language for... years? Of course, I wrote some emails, had discutions with some people. But not everyday. I can feel that I forgot a lot. Who knows in what language will be my interview for new job- employers likes to check your knoledge. Even if you'll never need this language at work, LOL!

Also I'll try to sew some stuff. I already have the sewing mashine, so, crisis wont get me- I'll be stylish as always :P
